Back to Alaska

We are back in Alaska now. Unloading the truck, wondering why we brought everything we did, and catching up on visiting. We had dinner at Becky and Brian's last night. Alex and Andrew have both grown taller since I left in November! It was great to see everyone and get lots of hugs.

The ferry trip form Bellingham to Ketchikan was beautiful!

When we got to Bellingham Dr. Bill got to meet my sister, Gail and my brother, Neil. Lynn was down from Alaska and my Mom and Earl were delighted. They had all four kids in one spot at the same time. Amazing.

On our way to Bellingham and the ferry to Alaska we stopped by to celebrate Kassi's 22 birthday. WE also stopped to celebrate Connor's first birthday.

Travels

We left Colorado and all the snow, mud and sunshine on March 14th. The truck was packed and I mean packed full of items bound for Alaska. Bill used a pole to stick my clothes down the sides. No room for anything, not even a mouse. This is a picture of the beautiful area we pass through in Utah.

We just returned from yet another trip to Denver. The Townhouse sale fell through but we decided to clear out everything Bill wanted. The truck and car handled the last load quite nicely. We spent an evening with Bill's step-daughter and her family. Bill spent some time with his 13 year old dog named Shook. Shook can't handle all the traveling we do so she is staying with Katie (the young lady in the picture, Bill's oldest grandaughter. Shook and Katie have grown up together and are great buddies. Shook was hit by a car last week. At 13 years of age is was tramatic for us all but she is recovering nicely.

I also got to meet Bill's step-son and his family. It is nice to have a face to go with the names. No pictures, everyone was sick with colds and flu and not looking their best.

This week is the last week in Colorado so we are franticlly trying to finish everything up before we head back to Alaska.
